On September 16, 2024 at approximately 2:30 p.m. Saskatchewan RCMP's La Ronge Crime Reduction Team (CRT) stopped an SUV for aggressive driving on Highway #2 north of Prince Albert.
Officers arrested the driver and passenger, both adult males, under the Cannabis Act.
Upon further investigation, officers seized a firearm, nearly $12,000 cash, ammunition, and a quantity of packaged cocaine and cannabis from the SUV. Following an additional search, officers seized a quantity of cocaine from one of the suspects.
The two adult males, 20-year-old- Rosell Gregana and 21-year-old Yeina Koladino, both from Saskatoon, are facing multiple charges including:
- one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
- one count, possession of the proceeds of crime over $5,000, Section 354(1)(a), Criminal Code;
- two counts, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, Section 88(1), Criminal Code;
- two counts, unsafe storage of a firearm, Section 86(2), Criminal Code;
- two counts, carrying a concealed weapon, Section 90(1), Criminal Code;
- two counts, possession of a firearm when knowing possession unauthorized, Section 92(1), Criminal Code;
- two counts, possession of a firearm and ammunition in a vehicle, Section 94(1), Criminal Code;
- one count, possession of restricted firearm/prohibited weapon with ammunition without license/registration, Section 95(1), Criminal Code;
- one count, tampering with serial number of firearm, Section 108(1)(a), Criminal Code
