The Codiac Regional RCMP is seeking the public's help following an aggravated assault in Moncton, N.B.

On November 30, 2024, at approximately 3 p.m., members of the Codiac Regional RCMP were made aware of an assault that occurred at approximately 3 a.m. on the same day, in front of a business at the intersection of Main Street and Robinson Court, in Moncton.

Following the assault, the victim, a 50-year-old man, was treated at hospital with what were believed to be significant, non-life-threatening injuries. He has since been released from hospital.

Police are now seeking the public's help in hopes of identifying two individuals responsible for the assault. A description of the suspects is not available at this time.

Anyone who lives, works or happened to be in the area, has security camera or dash camera footage from the time of the incident, or who may have witnessed the assault is asked to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), by downloading the secure P3 Mobile App, or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimenb.ca.

The investigation is ongoing.
