PEI RCMP arrest man and woman and seize suspected fentanyl

March 1st, 2024, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island - PEI RCMP Provincial General Investigation Section executed a search warrant at a property in Cornwall yesterday. A 26-year-old Charlottetown woman, a 31-year-old Cornwall man were arrested and suspected fentanyl was seized.

On February 29th, 2024, PEI RCMP Provincial General Investigation Section with assistance from Queens District RCMP executed a search warrant at a property in Cornwall. RCMP seized approximately 40 grams of suspected Fentanyl, Canadian currency, edge weapons, a replica firearm, currency counter, and a 3D printer. Two milligrams of fentanyl in some forms can be lethal and it is often sold in 0.1-gram amounts. This investigation is ongoing.
