Man flees from RCMP in Cupids, apprehended by RCMP Police Service Dog Kaos

After fleeing from RCMP at a traffic stop on November 11, 2024, in Cupids, 22-year-old Brady Stuckless of Harbour Grace was apprehended by RCMP Police Dog Services.

Shortly before 1:00 a.m. on Monday, RCMP attempted to stop a vehicle that pulled into a residential property on Conception Bay Highway in Cupids. The driver of the vehicle, Stuckless, exited the vehicle and fled on foot in a wooded area.

RCMP Police Service Dog Kaos and his handler were deployed and conducted a track that led officers from the vehicle to a residential property on Gould's Road in Cupids. Stuckless was taken into custody without further incident.

At the same time, RCMP in Holyrood were looking to arrest Stuckless in relation to a number of crimes that occurred in the community of Brigus Junction in October, 2024.

Stuckless attended court on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 and was remanded in custody. He is charged with a total of 16 charges between Bay Roberts and Holyrood RCMP, listed here:

  • Break and enter
  • Possession of property obtained by crime
  • Possession of a break-in instrument
  • Theft over $5000.00
  • Theft under $5000.00
  • Resisting or obstructing a peace officer
  • Failing to comply with a probation order – three counts
  • Failing to comply with a condition of a release order – seven counts

His next court appearance is on November 14, 2024.
