LOCATED: Saskatoon RCMP asks public to report sightings of Myles Has

On September 11, 2023, Saskatchewan RCMP's Prince Albert Crime Reduction Team located and arrested Myles Has at an address on Clarence Avenue in Saskatoon.

He is scheduled to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on September 12, 2023.

Backgrounder

On September 6, 2023 at approximately 10:30 p.m., Saskatoon RCMP received a report of a firearms discharge at a residence in Prudhomme, SK.

Officers immediately responded. Initial investigation determined an altercation occurred between two adult men. A firearm was discharged and one of the men was injured. He was taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.

The other male left the scene in a vehicle.

As a result of further investigation, Saskatoon RCMP has charged 34-year-old Myles Has from Saskatoon with:

  • one count, attempted murder, Section 239(1), Criminal Code;
  • one count, discharge firearm, Section 244.1(a), Criminal Code;
  • one count, aggravated assault, Section 268, Criminal Code; and
  • one count, possession of firearm without a license, Section 91(1), Criminal Code.

A warrant has been issued for Myles Has' arrest and Saskatoon RCMP are working to locate him.

Early on September 7, the vehicle he left the scene in was recovered, abandoned, near Wakaw, SK.

Myles Has is described as 5'10" and 250 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
