As a result of investigation by Prince Albert RCMP and Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes, 64-year-old Reginald Durocher of Christopher Lake, SK was arrested on April 4 in relation to the death of Ryan Clark.
He has been charged with one count, first degree murder, Section 235(1), Criminal Code. He made his first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on April 6, 2023 (Information #90489553).

Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes investigating fatal collision involving pedestrian in Northside, SK
2023-04-05
On April 4, 2023 at approximately 8:30 p.m., Prince Albert RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian outside of a business on Highway #2 in Northside, SK.
Officers and EMS immediately responded. An injured male was located and he was pronounced deceased by EMS at the scene. He has been identified as a 34-year-old from Paddockwood, SK. His family has been notified. Because charges are not laid, we are not releasing his name at this time.
Initial investigation determined a vehicle struck the male, then fled.
Prince Albert RCMP began patrolling to locate the vehicle. It was located in the community of Little Red River at approximately 11 p.m. The driver was later located and taken into custody.
Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes has taken carriage of this investigation. Charges against the male are pending and the investigation continues. Updates will be provided when available.
