The Nova Scotia RCMP is introducing interim bilingual provincial Public Information Officer (PIO), Constable Dominic Laflamme.

Originally from Quebec City, Cst. Laflamme joined the RCMP in 2008, and following graduation from "Depot" Division in Regina, Saskatchewan, he was posted to St. Albert, Alberta in general duty policing and traffic services.

Following his time in St. Albert, Cst. Laflamme was transferred to Ottawa in 2014 where he worked with the National Capital Region Traffic Services as a traffic investigator. In 2017, Cst. Laflamme transferred to Nova Scotia and continued his work in general duty policing at the Bridgetown Detachment.

After having completed twelve years of frontline policing, Cst. Laflamme started a new role in 2020 with Digital Forensic Services working as a Digital Evidence Specialist.

Cst. Laflamme has taken on the interim role of Public Information Officer as Cpl. Chris Marshall, who has been the Nova Scotia RCMP provincial Public Information Officer since 2020, is moving on to a new endeavour within the RCMP.

The Nova Scotia RCMP would like to thank Cpl. Marshall for his dedication to the role.
