Loader used during early morning break and enter at Goobies Ultramar on TCH, RCMP investigates

The Goobies Ultramar service station has severe damage to the roof and front entrance. Debris is scattered on the ground in front of the building.

Clarenville RCMP is investigating an early morning break and enter into Goobies Ultramar on the Trans-Canada Highway.

Shortly before 5:00 a.m. today, Clarenville RCMP received the report of the break and enter. Officers attended the scene and determined that a loader, which was abandoned at the scene, was used to gain access to the building. An ATM was stolen from inside and the business was heavily damaged.

The investigation is continuing.
