Public’s help sought in home invasion investigation

The Northeast District RCMP is asking for the public's help as part of its ongoing investigation into a home invasion in Allardville, N.B.

On February 22, 2021, at approximately 12:15 a.m., members of the Chaleur Region RCMP responded to a report of a home invasion on Route 160. Police believe at least two people wearing ski masks and armed with weapons entered the home, assaulted the lone occupant and fled the scene. At this time, it is unclear if they left on foot or by vehicle.

The homeowner was treated by paramedics at the scene and did not require to be transported to hospital.

Police are now seeking information from the public to help further the investigation.

Anyone who may have information about the home invasion, or who may have seen suspicious activity on Route 160 between 11 p.m., on February 21 and 2 a.m., on February 22, is asked to contact the Chaleur Region RCMP at 506-548-7771. The investigation is ongoing.
