The Silent Partner Program

The RCMP's fallen must never be forgotten.

The Silent Partner Program allows the spirit of those RCMP officers who died in the line of duty to live on through the long careers of our future police officers.

Launched in 2013, cadets at the RCMP Academy, Depot Division each receive a card about an RCMP fallen member. This card will include personal data and the circumstances surrounding the member's death, and where possible it may also include a picture and other interesting information about their important contributions to the Force.

Cadets will carry the card with them throughout training and may be asked to share information about their silent partner during inspections. After graduation, new RCMP officers will be able to hold on to their card, contributing to the RCMP's culture of honour and remembrance.
