On May 25th, members of the media are invited to attend a Change of Command ceremony at the Salaberry Armoury in Gatineau, QC. The ceremony will mark the symbolic handover of authority from outgoing Commissioner Brenda Lucki to incoming Commissioner Mike Duheme.
The Honourable Marco Mendicino, Minister of Public Safety will participate in the ceremony and deliver remarks.
Following the ceremony, Commissioner Duheme will hold a media availability.

Access to the ceremony is restricted. Media representatives must register in advance by contacting RCMP Media Relations at rcmp.hqmediarelations-dgrelationsmedias.grc@rcmp-grc.gc.ca by no later than 1:00 pm EST, May 24, 2023.
