Yorkton RCMP seek public assistance locating missing male

Alec is described as approximately 5'9

On September 25, 2024, Yorkton RCMP received a report of a missing 71-year-old man, Alec Zwozdesky.

Alec was last seen at 5 p.m. on September 24 on Victoria Avenue in Yorkton. Since receiving the report he is missing, Yorkton RCMP has been checking places Alec is known to visit and following up on information received. Yorkton RCMP is now asking members of the public to report all sightings of Alec and information on his whereabouts.

Investigators ask home owners in Yorkton and surrounding area to check their properties, particularly outbuildings, for any signs of Alec and/or clothing or items that seem out of place.

Alec is described as approximately 5'9" and 150 lbs. He has short grey hair, and was last seen wearing a grey vest, blue jeans, black shoes and a grey ball cap.

Alec requires medicine he does not have with him.
