ARRESTED: Yorkton RCMP ask public to report sightings of Trevor Mattiuz

On July 17, 2024 Manitoba RCMP located and arrested Trevor Mattiuz at a campground near Gimbli, Manitoba. Trevor Mattiuz was wanted on warrant by Yorkton RCMP for being unlawfully at large.

Trevor Mattiuz will appear in Yorkton Provincial Court. The date of his appearance has yet to be determined.

Backgrounder

On July 16, 2024, at approximately 4:10 p.m., Yorkton RCMP received a report that an adult male failed to return to a correctional centre in Yorkton when required to do so. Yorkton RCMP has been working to locate the male, 43-year-old Trevor Mattiuz, who is now wanted on warrant for being unlawfully at large.

Yorkton RCMP is asking the public to report sightings of Mattiuz or information regarding his whereabouts.

Trevor Mattiuz is described as being approximately 5'6" and 185 lbs. He has brown eyes, dark blonde hair and a number of tattoos: the letters "RM" on his right hand; the number "13" on the right side of his chest; the number "20" on the left side of his chest; and tattoos on both his upper arms. He was last seen at a business in Yorkton at approximately 3:10 p.m. today (July 16) wearing a grey sweat suit.
