On September 12, 2024 at approximately 11:54 am, Whitehorse RCMP responded to a complaint of a robbery at Petro One located in the Porter Creek subdivision. A lone adult male entered the store with bear spray, sprayed the employees and took cash from the cash register. The suspect then fled on a bicycle.
Subsequent to a police investigation, one male was taken into custody and will appear in court on charges tomorrow. Police would like to thank the public for their assistance.
