Update - Ste. Rose du Lac RCMP looking for missing man

Derek Contois has been safely located. The RCMP thanks the public and the media for their assistance.


On September 12, 2024, at 3:45 pm, Ste. Rose du Lac RCMP received a report of a missing 50-year-old male from a residence located in McCreary.

Derek Contois was last seen leaving his residence on September 6, 2024. He's known to frequent the City of Winnipeg and the Town of Swan River.

Contois is described as being 5'10", 220 lbs with short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white shirt with black track pants.

RCMP and his family are concerned for his wellbeing.
