RCMP requesting public’s assistance following theft of trailer and ATV

The Caraquet RCMP is seeking the public's help in locating a stolen trailer and all-terrain vehicle (ATV) from Caraquet, N.B.

The theft of the trailer is believed to have occurred shortly before 4 a.m. on July 17, 2024, from the parking lot of a school in the community.

The theft of the ATV is believed to have occurred at approximately 4 a.m. on the same day, from a business parking lot on Boulevard Saint-Pierre Ouest, also in the community.

The trailer is described as a white 2023 enclosed utility trailer, with New Brunswick licence plate TUF 724 and vehicle identification number 53BLTEA12PP025347. The ATV is described as a yellow 2012 Can-Am 800REF with New Brunswick licence plate XV 1148 and vehicle identification number 3JBEPHN13CJ000260.

Police are releasing photos from video surveillance footage in hopes that someone may recognize two persons of interest in connection with the theft.
