Meadow Lake CRT seizes methamphetamine, cocaine, and drug trafficking paraphernalia

On June 22, 2024 at approximately 8:30 p.m., Saskatchewan RCMP's Meadow Lake Crime Reduction Team (CRT) located a vehicle on 9th Street in Meadow Lake as part of a drug trafficking investigation. Officers approached the vehicle and the occupants inside.

As a result of investigation, officers located and seized approximately 45 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 16 grams of cocaine, and drug trafficking paraphernalia.

An adult female at the scene resisted arrest, however officers brought her into custody without further incident.

18-year-old Prezlee Wahobin from Meadow Lake is charged with:

  • one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
  • one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act; and
  • one count, resists/obstruct peace officer, Section 129(a), Criminal Code.

As a result of continued investigation, on June 23, 2024 officers arrested an adult male in relation to the incident.

36-year-old Theodore Bouvier from Meadow Lake is charged with:

  • one count, trafficking methamphetamine, Section 5(1), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
  • one count, trafficking cocaine, Section 5(1), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act; and
  • two counts, fail to comply with a release order, Section 145(5)(a), Criminal Code.

Prezlee Wahobin is scheduled to appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on August 12, 2024. Theodore Bouvier is scheduled to appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on July 8, 2024.
