Man wanted on province-wide arrest warrant

Digby RCMP is seeking information on the whereabouts of a man currently wanted on a province-wide arrest warrant in relation to an assault that occurred yesterday in Bear River.

Daniel Ray Maas, 38, from Bear River, is wanted and facing charges of Assault, Breaking and Entering and Committing, Mischief, Theft, and Failure to Comply with an Undertaking (four counts).

Maas is described as 5-foot-8, 220 lbs. He has thinning dark brown hair with a receding hairline, short ungroomed facial hair and brown eyes. Maas has a tattoo of an anchor on his neck and tattoos on his arms.

Police have made several attempts to locate Maas, and are requesting assistance from the public.
