RCMP NL is proud to announce that one of our own, Constable Caleb Pellerin of Traffic Services West, was recently awarded as MADD Canada's 2024 Police Officer of the Year.

Constable Pellerin, who works out of the Deer Lake RCMP Detachment as a Traffic Services Investigator, is no stranger to MADD Canada, having been inducted into MADD Canada's Team Nick Coates Impaired Driving Awards each year since 2020. Since 2021, Constable Pellerin has earned the top performer award for RCMP NL at this event.

Constable Pellerin attended MADD Canada's award presentation ceremony virtually in October, 2024. His award was recently presented to him in person by his supervisor, Sergeant Dean Hyde, in Deer Lake.

Caleb shows his dedication and determination to rid the province's roads of impaired drivers each and every shift and we commend him for his exceptional work in the area of impaired driving.

Congratulations to Constable Caleb Pellerin, well done!
