Kings District RCMP charges man with Breaking and Entering with Intent

Kings District RCMP has charged a man with breaking and entering with intent and trespassing at night after receiving a report of a break and enter into a home on Windsor St. in Kingston.

On December 6, at approximately 11:20 p.m., Kings District RCMP responded to a report that a man had entered a home where a woman had been sleeping and asked her if she was alone. Upon waking and seeing the man, whom she didn't know, the woman fled. She was not physically injured in the incident.

Responding officers arrested a man a short time later near the residence.

Kings District RCMP has charged Patrick Celestine Hyslop, 44, of Kingston with Breaking and Entering with Intent, Trespass at Night, Failure to Comply with Probation Order (two counts) and Failure to Comply with Release Order (two counts).

Hyslop was remanded into custody pending his next appearance in Kentville Provincial Court on December 18 for a bail hearing.
