Iqaluit RCMP execute search warrant recover weapons and stolen property

On August 5, 2024, Iqaluit RCMP executed a search warrant at a cabin site on "new dump road" in Iqaluit. During the search, police located stolen property, numerous firearms, and other weapons. Further investigation was required prior to charges being laid.

Kevin Brazeau, 33, has since been arrested and is charged with numerous firearms related offences, and possession of property obtained by crime.

Carl Barrett, 56, has been charged with theft under $5,000.00.
