Whitehorse RCMP have located the involved vehicle in a hit and run fatality of a cyclist. Police extend their condolences to the family. To respect the privacy of the family, no further details will be provided.
"I would like to thank the public for all of their calls yesterday in providing valuable information in regards to our request for assistance in locating the vehicle. We would like to again, request some help from the community. If anyone has dash camera footage from the morning of June 13, 2024 or were a witness to the collision, please contact the Whitehorse RCMP." – Sergeant Brent Edwards, Whitehorse Detachment Operations.
