Impaired driver in 2019 crash claims lives of two individuals and seriously injures two others, sentenced by Gander Provincial Court

Convicted of two counts of impaired operation causing death and two counts of impaired operation causing bodily harm in relation to a fatal collision that occurred on the Trans-Canada Highway on July 7, 2019, 26-year-old Nicholas Villeneuve of Gander was sentenced by Gander Provincial Court yesterday afternoon.

Villeneuve received a concurrent sentence of a total of six years incarceration and a seven-year driving prohibition, which commenced upon his sentencing yesterday.
