Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP responds to report of impaired driving, man arrested

On October 24, 2024, Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP responded to a report of an impaired driver in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.

Approximately 12:30 a.m. on October 24, police received the report of a suspected impaired driver. A short time later, officers located the described vehicle and arrested the driver, a 38-year-old man, for impaired operation. At the detachment, the man provided breath samples that were more than three times the legal limit.

The driver is set to appear in court at a later date to face charges of impaired operation and was ticketed for driving without a valid driver's licence.
