Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP is investigating an arson that occurred on August 10, 2024, at the Sand Bar in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
At approximately 4:45 a.m. on Saturday, police received the report of the fire and attended the scene. Firefighters battled the blaze which completely destroyed the property. Evidence gathered suggests that the fire was intentionally set. Two suspects were observed running from the property with the possibility of a third suspect in the area as the fire broke out.
The investigation is continuing.
