48-year-old man dies following single-vehicle crash

A 48-year-old man from Saint-Ignace, N.B., has died following a single-vehicle crash in Memramcook, N.B.

On September 18, 2024, at approximately 12:07 p.m., members of the Sackville RCMP responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Highway 2 in Memramcook.

The crash is believed to have occurred when the vehicle left the road and collided with a tree. The 48-year-old man and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

Members of the Memramcook Fire Department, Ambulance New Brunswick, and the Department of Justice and Public Safety also attended the scene. RCMP Collision Reconstructionist and a member of the New Brunswick Coroner's Office are assisting with the ongoing investigation. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the man's exact cause of death.

The investigation is ongoing.
