June 21, 2023 Souris Prince Edward Island – Kings District RCMP has laid multiple charges in connection to yesterday's Amber Alert including attempted murder. The accused, who remains in police custody, is currently facing eight charges including attempted murder on an adult, uttering threats, theft of a motor vehicle, firearm charges and breaches of court orders. He will appear in provincial court for a first appearance tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. in Georgetown. This investigation is ongoing.
