Whitbourne RCMP responded to a report of a vehicle that had crashed into the Tim Hortons in Whitbourne yesterday, June 18, 2023. A SUV drove through the front entrance of the business causing extensive damages and injuries to one individual.

Shortly after 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, police received the report and attended the scene. The investigation determined that the elderly driver of the vehicle had unintentionally pressed the gas pedal of the SUV instead of the brake and crashed into the business.
