On Nov. 14, 2023, at 5:17 a.m., Strathcona County RCMP received a report of a stabbing at a residence on Range Road 221 in Strathcona County. Upon arrival of police and EMS, the 44-year-old female victim was transported to hospital with serious injuries. The suspect had departed prior to police arrival.
On Nov. 14, 2023, at 8:45 a.m., RCMP assisted Edmonton Police Service with a fatal single vehicle collision of the Anthony Henday South of the 153 Avenue exit. RCMP believe the victim of this collision is the suspect of the earlier stabbing.
The investigation into the stabbing continues.
