On October 10, 2023, Moosomin Detachment assisted Virden Manitoba RCMP by trying to locate suspects of a gas n dash from Virden Detachment area. Moosomin members located a red Chrysler 300 and a Buick Enclave traveling at a high rate of speed on Highway 8 south of Moosomin. The suspects evaded members efforts to pull them over. The Buick Enclave was abandoned in Moosomin and the suspects fled the area in the red Chrysler 300. Moosomin Detachment seized the Buick Enclave and had it processed by our RCMP Forensic Identification Unit. As a result of our investigation, Moosomin RCMP have charged 36-year-old Tristan Antonio Provinciano from Winnipeg MB, with Possession of Stolen Property over $5000 and Flight from Police. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Tristan is described as being approximately 200 pounds, 6 feet tall with brown hair and brown eyes.
RCMP investigation has determined that Tristan Antonio Provinciano may be in possession of a firearm and he is not to be approached. If you see him or the Chrysler 300 with Manitoba license plate LGR 124, please contact your local RCMP or police service immediately or call 911.
