A 28-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman have been charged in connection with a series of incidents in the Western region of New Brunswick.
On July 23, police received information that two individuals that they were searching for in connection with a series of incidents in the Western region of the province, were in the Grand Falls area.
Police attended a residence on Court Street in connection with the investigation. At approximately 5 p.m., a 28-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman were arrested at the scene. A 32-year-old woman was also arrested at the scene on unrelated matters.
On July 24, Wyatt Delong appeared in Woodstock Provincial Court and was charged with breach of probation. Janice Buchanan also appeared in court and was charged with robbery. They were both remanded into custody, and are scheduled to return to court on July 27.
There was a large police presence in the area during the arrests, however, at the time, the incident did not meet the criteria for an Alert Ready message. The New Brunswick RCMP is always prepared to issue an Alert Ready message should there be a need.
The investigation is ongoing.
