On October 20, 2023, at approximately 8 p.m., Lunenburg District RCMP, fire and EHS, responded to a report of an ATV crash on Hwy. 3 in Simms Settlement. A collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.

Hwy. 3 was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
