Kings District RCMP investigating a Break and Enter to a poultry wholesaler facility

Kings District RCMP is investigating a Break and Enter and Mischief in a poultry wholesaler facility in Steam Mill which left thousands of chicken dead.

On November 22, 2023, around 12:00 p.m. Kings District RCMP responded to a report of a Break and Enter and Mischief on Lakewood Rd. in Steam Mill, Nova Scotia. As a result, thousands of chickens were found deceased, the total loss is estimated to be around $160 000.00. The Break and Enter is believed to have been committed between November 21, 2023 at 8:30 p.m. to November 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
