The Sussex RCMP have recovered drugs, a firearm and stolen property following a traffic stop in Sussex, N.B.
On August 2, 2023 at approximately 3:00 a.m., members of the Sussex RCMP Detachment stopped a vehicle on Elmview Avenue, in Sussex. Members observed what was believed to be methamphetamine in the vehicle.
The two occupants of the vehicle, a 22-year-old male and a 17-year-old female from Sussex were arrested at the scene. During a search of the vehicle, members seized a quantity of methamphetamine, a firearm and stolen property.
Both individuals were released from custody, and are scheduled to appear in court on November 8,2023.
