Cumberland County District RCMP is investigating a serious crash that occurred on Hwy. 104 in Atkinson.
On July 26, 2023, at approximately 2:15 p.m., Cumberland County District RCMP, fire and EHS, responded to a report of a motorcycle crash on Hwy. 104 in Atkinson. RCMP officers learned that a motorcycle had been travelling on Hwy. 104 when the motorcycle left the road and came to rest in a ditch.
The driver of the motorcycle, a 74-year-old Ontario man, suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital by Lifeflight.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Hwy. 104 was closed for approximately an hour, but has since reopened.
