Burin Peninsula RCMP investigates break and enter and theft from Aylward’s Home Hardware building in Marystown

Burin Peninsula RCMP is investigating a break and enter at Aylward's Home Hardware in Marystown and the theft of a number of items from an area of the building occupied by The Source. The crimes occurred during the evening hours of February 14, 2023.

On the morning of February 15, 2023, police received the report of the break in where a lone suspect forced entry into the front door and entered the property. Surveillance suggests the crime occurred at approximately 10:00 p.m. Approximately $12,000.00 in merchandise owned by the Source was stolen, including:

  • iPhone 13 (128 GB) Black
  • iPhone 13 (128GB) Blue
  • iPhone 12 (64 GB) Black
  • iPhone 14 (128GB) Black
  • iPhone 14 Pro Max (128GB) Blac
  • iPhone 14 Pro (128GB) Black
  • iPhone 14 Pro (128GB) Silver
  • PlayStation 5 – God of War Bundle with Disk Drive – three
