RCMP East District General Investigation Section (GIS) and Bonavista RCMP executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act last night at a home in Bonavista. As a result, 39-year-old Crystal Stagg was arrested and charged with drug-related offences.
At approximately 7:30 p.m., police entered the home on Red Head Road and conducted a search. The following items were located and seized from inside the residence:
- Cocaine
- Crack cocaine
- Cash
- Various items consistent with drug trafficking
Crystal Stagg was arrested in the community shortly after the search and was held in police custody. She attends court today and is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.
The investigation is continuing.
