On March 16, 2022, at approximately 12:10 am, The Pas RCMP received a report of threats. The exact location of the incident was unknown but officers determined an approximate location and immediately began making patrols.
Officers located several individuals walking on Trager Drive, in The Pas. When they were stopped by police they took off on foot. After a brief pursuit the individuals were arrested.
One of the individuals, a 24-year-old male, was searched and found to be in possession of ammunition. He was also wanted on several outstanding warrants.
Officers conducted a search of the area and located a loaded shotgun.
Wyatt Campbell, 24, of Moose Lake, has been charged with Resisting Arrest, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Careless Use of a Firearm, Weapons Possession Contrary to Order, Fail to Comply x 7 and more.
He was remanded into custody.
The other individuals were released without charges.
The Pas RCMP continue to investigate.
