Meet Tracey Paul Kirkpatrick, a Strategic Planning Analyst - Community Engagement, with the New Brunswick RCMP's Indigenous Policing Services team. As an Indigenous woman working with the RCMP, Tracey is passionate about helping to change the culture of the organization.

She takes part in several influential committees, including the J Division Indigenous Employee Advisory Committee, the J Division Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee, the Commissioner's National RCMP Reconciliation Working Group, and the National RCMP Women's Indigenous Network.

"I am in a role in Indigenous Policing Services where I am fulfilled every day because of what I am passionate about personally. I work towards advancing initiatives professionally that will ultimately reduce barriers and issues for the Indigenous peoples and communities we serve," says Tracey. "I have had an amazing career with the RCMP and I am striving to make this an even better place for future generations of Indigenous peoples to work."

Tracey and her daughter, Daisy Kirkpatrick, recently participated in a march in Fredericton for Red Dress Day. Tracey attends the Red Dress Day events annually with New Brunswick RCMP colleagues, and often includes her young daughter as she feels strongly that it is important for her to attend these types of events and show her support. Tracey believes that these events help her daughter to form a deeper understanding of the issues affecting the Indigenous peoples and Indigenous communities.

Thank you Tracey for sharing your passion, experience and dedication with the New Brunswick RCMP and the communities we serve.
