Harbour Grace RCMP seeks public’s assistance in identifying multiple suspects in break, enter and theft at Carbonear business

Thousands of dollars worth of merchandise was stolen from Quality Vapour in Carbonear in the early morning hours of Monday, August 8, 2022. Harbour Grace RCMP is investigating the break, enter and theft and have released surveillance videos showing multiple suspects in hoodies and masks.

The videos show one person using a sledgehammer to break through the front window of the business to gain entry. Three others follow the person inside. The sledgehammer is used to break display cases inside the business and the suspects fill bags with various items Also released are images of a white SUV with a panoramic sunroof captured in surveillance footage around the time of the theft.

Police ask the public to review the videos and to report if they have any information on the identity of the suspects. Police are also interested in speaking to the owner of the white SUV.
