As part of an investigation led by the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU), Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) members are in the process of dismantling a clandestine lab likely used to extract suspected cocaine in a commercial building located at 312 Rue de la Poterie in Saint-Jérôme, Quebec. Another search warrant was also conducted at a residence in Blainville.
The investigation, initiated in fall 2021, led to the arrest of an individual on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. Charges are pending.
The RCMP would like to assure the public that the facilities targeted by the search warrants do not pose a danger to the community. Specialized officers are working to safely dismantle the lab.
Investigators have not ruled out the possibility of conducting other search warrants.
