RCMP recover thousands of dollars worth of stolen merchandise

The Codiac Regional RCMP has recovered thousands of dollars worth of stolen merchandise in Riverview, N.B.

On November 9, 2021, police received a report of a break, enter and theft at a local business on Main Street in Salisbury. Through the investigation, a suspect was identified.

Later that day, police executed a search warrant at a residence on Canterbury Avenue in Riverview. During the search, police seized approximately two-thousand dollars worth of stolen merchandise.

A 56-year-old man was arrested at the scene. He was later released and is scheduled to appear in Moncton provincial court on April 14, 2022 at 9:30 a.m.

The investigation is ongoing, including determining if there are any connections to other similar incidents in the area.
