Pembina Valley RCMP respond to stabbing

This morning, at approximately 9:20 am, Pembina Valley RCMP received a report of a fight in progress at the Prairie Mountain High School located in Somerset.

Officers attended to the high school and were advised that two 15-year-old males, both from Somerset, were involved in an altercation where the one youth was stabbed with a knife by the other. The injured youth was transported to hospital in Winnipeg and is currently in stable condition.

The other male youth was arrested for Aggravated Assault and is currently in police custody.

Pembina Valley RCMP continue to investigate.
