The Prince District JFO Drug Unit which is comprised of RCMP, Summerside Police Services, and Kensington Police Services conducted a targeted vehicle stop in Borden-Carleton on Tuesday, April 6th, 2021. As a result of this vehicle stop a 54 year-old Summerside man was arrested and police seized 380 oxycodone pills, 377 diazepam pills, 70 grams of cannabis, 10 grams of cannabis resin, edged weapons, and $1300 in cash.
The man was released from custody on Wednesday, April 7th, 2021 and will compelled to court on a later date for drug trafficking offences.
