Clarenville RCMP looks to identify this man in relation to a theft that happened at the North Atlantic in Goobies on April 3, 2021.

Clarenville RCMP is investigating a theft of alcohol from the North Atlantic in Goobies that happened on April 3, 2021.

Shortly after 7:00 p.m., police received a call from an employee who reported the theft of a 40-ounce bottle of rum. Police attended the store and reviewed video surveillance that showed an unknown man placing a bottle inside his jacket and departing the store, in a 2016 Toyota Highlander, without paying.

The investigation is continuing. Clarenville RCMP seeks the public's assistance in identifying this man in relation to the theft.
