RCMP Federal Policing Border Integrity Unit in Prince Edward Island have begun patrolling with their vessels the coastlines and waterways of PEI. These patrols are being conducted to detect cross-border crime and do their role in keeping Canada safe. This includes intercepting small vessels and boaters not complying with travel restrictions and public health orders due to the Covid-19.

The RCMP is dedicated to preventing the spread of Covid-19. Marine travel between Canada and the US is for essential purpose only.
