Dustin Noonan sentenced to 6 years in custody for drug trafficking and firearms offences

On Friday, July 10th, 2020, Dustin Noonan of Albany, PEI was sentenced to six years in custody in Prince Edward Island Supreme Court.

Mr. Noonan has been in custody since he was arrested in April of 2019. These charges stem from a search warrant that the Prince District JFO drug unit executed on April 4th, 2019 in Albany, PEI. During the execution of this warrant police seized a loaded sawed off rifle, a loaded shotgun, three hand pellet guns, two long pellet guns, a large amount of knives, a machete, brass knuckles, two batons, bear spray, approximately 3.5 pounds of methamphetamine pills, approximately two ounces of crystal methamphetamine, a small amount of cocaine, and digital scales.

The co-accused in this investigation had already plead guilty to firearms offences and received 18 months in custody.
