Behchoko RCMP is renewing its call for public assistance in locating 44-year-old Steven Theriault, from Behchoko.
Behchoko RCMP have issued a warrant for the arrest of Steven Theriault, after he left the scene of a fatal single motor vehicle collision on April 22nd, 2020. The collision claimed the life of a female passenger and injured two others. Drugs and alcohol may have contributed to the collision.
Theriault is believed to be the driver of the vehicle.
Behchoko RCMP believe he could be either in the Northwest Territories, or in Alberta, in the Greater Edmonton area or Northern Alberta.
Steven Theriault is described as a First Nation man, 5'8" (177 cm), 230 lbs. (105 kg) with black hair and brown eyes.
