Property damage results in charges

On April 29th, 2019 at approximately 2:00 a.m. Queens District RCMP were called to a complaint of a male driving around the Kingston area damaging mailboxes and throwing pylons onto the roadway. A witness was able to describe the suspect vehicle.

Officers were able to locate and arrest a suspect shortly after. The areas where the mailboxes were damaged were in the Bannockburn Road, Darlington Road and Colville Road areas. If you were a victim of damage on the night of April 29th, 2019 in these areas please call the Queens District RCMP at 902-368-9300 to report your damages.

The 22 year old adult male will attend court on June 5th, 2019 to answer to charges of Mischief - Damage to Property.

This investigation continues as the RCMP tried to locate the owners of all the damaged property and identify accomplices to this spree of mischief. Anyone with information concerning this matter please contact the RCMP Queens District at 902-368-9300.
