A 60-year-old man and a 48-year-old man have been arrested in connection with a theft in the Saint John, N.B. region.
On April 21, 2024, at approximately 2:30 p.m., the Grand Manan RCMP received a report of a stolen all-terrain vehicle (ATV) from the Saint John area. It was believed that two individuals had stolen the ATV, and were last seen on the Grand Manan ferry heading to the island with it.
Police were able to quickly locate the stolen ATV. A 60-year-old man, and a 48-year-old man, both from Grand Manan, were arrested at the scene. During the arrest, police conducted a search of the individuals and seized a significant quantity of what is believed to be cocaine.
They were both later released on conditions, and are scheduled to appear in court in August.
The investigation is ongoing.
